It was supposed to release this month, however set backs from it being leaked this weekend and future jail time have forced Young Money/Cash Money to push it back. It will most likely drop right before Lil Wayne goes to jail so that he will have as much publicity going into the pen. Expect to see the TV commercial all over the music channels like MTV and BET, since that is the main audience that follows Weezy.

It has spread like a wildfire when fans heard news of Lil Wayne Rebirth Leaked earlier today along with the Young Money We Are Young Money album. Supposedly Amazon mistakenly shipped out 500 of the CDs to fans who pre-ordered the highly anticipated album. The leak of Rebirth by Lil Wayne is huge, because it was planned to be pushed back to February now since he is going to jail sometime around then. Breaking news today also tells us that Lil Wayne is currently being held by Texas border control authorities after marijuana was found on one of his several tour buses while traveling to a Texas show tonight. Crazy news today with the Lil Wayne Rebirth Leak and Weezy possibly being arrested again, which would be terrible for his upcoming court date for the previous arrest.

The official music video from Young Money – Bed Rock (Ft. Lloyd) has just launched and it looks real hot. Premiering on BET 106 & Park yesterday, the video received the hype it deserves. This song is definitely one of the best from Young Money so far, and Lloyd for the chorus sounds great. The video features pretty much all of Young Money, including Lil Wayne of course, but T-Streets and Lil Twist weren’t able to make it. We Are Young Money is set to drop December 21st along with Lil Wayne Rebirth which should both be top selling christmas presents this holiday. In this video we have Birdman, the CEO of Cash Money Records talking to MTV.co.uk while they were on tour in Europe. He talks about the plans for himself, Lil Wayne, and other Young Money/Cash Money members. Birdman says his album should drop on November 24th of this year, and following that Lil Wayne is planning to release Tha Carter IV and Rebirth together on December 15th. I’m skeptical about both of them dropping together as a package, since there hasn’t been much news about Tha Carter 4. With all these delays happening for the Rebirth by Lil Wayne, I highly doubt both will be ready to launch on 15th of December.

Birdman even had an opinion on the Hottest MC In The Game Award in which he doesn’t believe Jay-Z should have received #1. Baby said that it should be who makes the most money, since he’s all about money, and that Lil Wayne puts out more tracks while definitely being more consistent than Jay-Z.

Yet again we have the announcement that the Rebirth album from Lil Wayne has been pushed back to being released on December 15. So it is now supposed to drop 10 days before Christmas which will make it the perfect gift. This is definitely a marketing adjustment made by Universal because that week will be the busiest shopping days of the year. Rebirth was originally supposed to launch back in APRIL, but has been pushed back numerous times with the latest date being November 24. Let’s just hope this is the final time you guys have to hear about Lil Wayne delaying his Rebirth album.

Rumors have it that Lil Wayne will drop his album Rebirth on the same day as the Young Money album, November 24, and here is an interview of Weezy talking about members of the Young Money crew. Lil Wayne has just started The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, and this interview talks about some of the less popular members of Young Money, but how they are just as big a part of Lil Wayne’s success. Weezy talks about Gudda Gudda, and how he has been with him since he was teen, Lil Chuckee who Wayne says is such an entertainer and has got the swag to make himself big. When asked about the beautiful Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne was speechless, and that was all he could say. Weezy talked about T-Streets being like a brother to him, and how him and T-Streets always roll together. Other names mentioned are the notorious Mack Maine, Tyga, Jae Millz, D. Woods, Shanell, as well as Young Money Entertainment.

Rebirth, the upcoming album from Lil Wayne was expected to be released back in June, but now has been delayed until September according to Shanell. She told Rap-Up, “Right now it’s September. But let me tell ya’ll, great art takes time and you’ll expect it and expect it and expect it again, but when it’s perfect, you guys will receive it.” Hopefully it will release in September, but you never know with Weezy these days. He told everyone it was done, so I don’t understand what Universal is waiting on. Could be possible they want to wait and go head to head with Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album, or maybe 50 Cent’s upcoming album? Who knows, it could end up being pushed back into 2010.
