Juelz Santana has been sleeping on the rap game, but has now released a new video and song called Home Run featuring Lil Wayne. You don’t want to miss this, Mack Maine talks about the Carter IV coming soon from Lil Wayne. He said some of the new Lil Wayne music is from when he was in jail, writing down his thoughts. Usually Wayne doesn’t write his raps, he just freestyles in the studio. However, since there was no studio in prison, he had all the time in the world to perfect his new songs, and put them on paper first. Mack Maine says some of these new songs are amazing, and too stay on the look out for Cory Gunz.

Just a few days after being released from jail, Lil Wayne was seen at the New Orleans Hornets and Miami Heat basketball game along with Birdman, Mack Maine, and Cortez Bryant. Rocking the typical Weezy wardrobe you can see the Cincinnati Reds fitted cap, white tee, and chuck taylors while sitting courtside via seats from allstar Chris Paul. Now we just wait to see how much new music Lil Wayne will put out since he has all the time in the world. No more time behind bars for Wayne and lets keep it that way!

This is a leak from the next Lil Wayne The Drought Is Over 7 mixtape featuring Drake, and the track is called Right Above It. The song must have been recorded before Lil Wayne went to jail, so the mastered and full version isn’t out yet. But we get to hear a little bit of some new Weezy for now, which should hold all you fiends over until November. Only a few short months ahead for Wayne, keep your head up man, you’ll be free before you know it.

Check out this teaser video of Lil Wayne and his band performing Da Da Da on the top of a building. It looks like it’s somewhere in Miami, and probably close to Wayne’s new crib. Weezy always has to do something different, and him performing on the street to attract a crowd for the music video seemed to work well. We’ll just have to wait and see how the final cut of the video turns out for Lil Wayne.

In this video we have Birdman, the CEO of Cash Money Records talking to MTV.co.uk while they were on tour in Europe. He talks about the plans for himself, Lil Wayne, and other Young Money/Cash Money members. Birdman says his album should drop on November 24th of this year, and following that Lil Wayne is planning to release Tha Carter IV and Rebirth together on December 15th. I’m skeptical about both of them dropping together as a package, since there hasn’t been much news about Tha Carter 4. With all these delays happening for the Rebirth by Lil Wayne, I highly doubt both will be ready to launch on 15th of December.

Birdman even had an opinion on the Hottest MC In The Game Award in which he doesn’t believe Jay-Z should have received #1. Baby said that it should be who makes the most money, since he’s all about money, and that Lil Wayne puts out more tracks while definitely being more consistent than Jay-Z.

Yet again we have the announcement that the Rebirth album from Lil Wayne has been pushed back to being released on December 15. So it is now supposed to drop 10 days before Christmas which will make it the perfect gift. This is definitely a marketing adjustment made by Universal because that week will be the busiest shopping days of the year. Rebirth was originally supposed to launch back in APRIL, but has been pushed back numerous times with the latest date being November 24. Let’s just hope this is the final time you guys have to hear about Lil Wayne delaying his Rebirth album.

In an exclusive statement, Lauren London has given birth to Lil Wayne‘s third son last Wednesday on 9/9/09. Lauren London‘s publicist, Jocelyn R. Coleman announced the welcoming of Lil Wayne‘s healthy baby boy to the world a few days ago, and now hiphollywood.com has confirmed the birth. It is also said that Nivea is about to have Weezy‘s fourth child any minute now, and we will have the Lil Wayne news once it happens.

Just a reminder that the Lil Wayne “Behind The Music” television documentary is on tonight at 10:00pm on VH1. The show will be all about Lil Wayne and how he got to where he is now. It will cover his life in New Orleans, drug days, losing his virginity at the age of 11, family, Hurricane Katrina, syrup, albums, and all the awards he’s won to date. The television documentary will talk about how Lil Wayne has stopped writing his music down, and only freestyles now. I’m not sure how much I believe all that, but it will be interesting to watch the show tonight.

It’s official, the final numbers for the Lil Wayne “I Am Music” and “Americas Most Wanted” tours grossed $42 million, and brought in around 804,000 fans. These are record numbers for Lil Wayne, and come from a total of seventy-eight Lil Wayne headlining arena and amphitheater concerts. Wayne‘s tour business manager and tour producer Shawn Gee said it was definitely one of the biggest in the past years, and that their plan was to prove Lil Weezy can be a viable headlining arena artist. These numbers are tracked by Billboard.com, and they show that the second highest gross rap tour was Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige in 2008 which grossed $34.6 million with 310,694 fans at 28 shows. Kanye West’s 2008 tour Glow In The Dark came in third, having grossed $30.8 million from 49 concerts, in which 507,853 fans attended. It is rare that a hip-hop tour cracks the Billboard end of year list in the top 25 grossing tours, but it is likely that Lil Wayne will earn a spot on this years Billboard top 25 tours.
