Lil Wayne

lil wayne interview

In a recent interview Lil Wayne said, “I think it’s amazing what’s been done for Haiti, but I also think its amazing what hasn’t been done for New Orleans.” It’s so sad, but so true. New Orleans didn’t receive half the hype that Haiti has got from the media. Even online we are still constantly seeing banners for Haiti donations or Haiti help. Lil Wayne has a good point and more people need to see this video and pass it on.

Here we have an interview of Lil Wayne with Tim Westwood after his concert talking about Tha Carter 4, Young Money, Rebirth, Rock, and Weezy‘s wildcat style. Wayne talks about how his competition shouldn’t know what to do since he started bringing out the band, playing the guitar on stage, and keeping the crowd alive all at the same time. However, Lil Wayne doesn’t want to be looked at like a rock star, or his music classified as rock. He states that he just does him, and that his music represents him as a person, not as a genre of music in general. With that approach he likes to classify his style as the wildcat offense, the offense the Miami Dolphins have been utilizing so successfully. You don’t know who or what is going to handle the ball, and with Lil Wayne, you never know what he’s going to do next. That is what makes Lil Wayne successful.
