According to TMZ, Lil Wayne just had 8 root canals of major dental surgery on his mouth before his jail debut. Some are now speculating that his grills have been removed but nothing official yet. Weezy‘s time as a free man is coming to and end soon, I hope he’s enjoying himself now, there’s definitely a long road ahead of him. Check out the official report from TMZ after the jump.

Recent reports show that Lil Wayne is going to have his jail sentence delayed until March 2nd for dental surgery. This is excellent news for rapper Weezy, since he can now focus on finishing more work before serving his time. Lil Wayne could be released in as little as 8 months if he keeps good behavior, or have a maximum sentence of one year. The dental work is for a possible cracked tooth under the grilles, and honestly he should have them completely removed before going in the pen. If an inmate is about to get out of jail, and knows that Weezy‘s grille is worth thousands of dollars, what do you think he’s gonna do?
