MTV got an exclusive talk with Mack Maine, the president of Young Money, and he talks about Tha Carter IV tracks. Mack also goes on to say it would be crazy if they just drop the album the day Lil Wayne is released from jail. That way there would be no leaks, and sales would probably be off the charts due to Weezy released. Lil Wayne has already chose six song that he wants on the CD, but Mack Maine, Birdman, and Cortez Bryant have had a listening session to pick their favorites. We’ll see what happens over the next two months, and in November Lil Wayne should have his early release from jail.

Here is the new Ground Zero Lil Wayne music video starring Shanell while Weezy shows clips from his concerts. It’s not your typical Lil Wayne video since Shanell is shown in the majority of it, but this is also one of Weezy’s rock songs. The Rebirth album didn’t sell as much as expected, probably because most of it was leaked, and everyone downloads free music these days. Only three more months until Lil Wayne is released from jail, and it will definitely be a party once he gets out.

The music video has just dropped from Drake featuring Lil Wayne called Miss Me. I think this video is one of the better ones that the Young Money family has released. Most of the work you can tell was done from the green screen, but ghost like image of Weezy is pretty cool. The hard core hat Lil Wayne is wearing is also something we haven’t seen him sport before.

MTV caught up with Drizzy Drake recently after hearing about him and Kayne West performing at the 2010 VMAs. Drake talks about hopefully Lil Wayne can get an early release out of jail, and perform with him. Drake is wearing a mobster type outfit for some video he is probably shooting, we just don’t know which one. But he talks about how it would be cool if Weezy was released early and the whole Young Money crew could just walk out on stage for the Video Music Awards.

Check out the official Steady Mobbin Lil Wayne music video featuring Gucci Mane. This video was said to be shot a couple hours before Lil Wayne turned himself into the prison. The video shows Lil Wayne’s Miami crib, and even has a part where he ashes his blunt in his latest Grammy Award. This dude is too crazy, but you gotta give it to him, he’s making that money. Only a few more months until Weezy gets released from jail. Now that Lebron James went to the Miami Heat, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and all the guys will be running South Beach along side the 305 rappers.

Check out this teaser video of Lil Wayne and his band performing Da Da Da on the top of a building. It looks like it’s somewhere in Miami, and probably close to Wayne’s new crib. Weezy always has to do something different, and him performing on the street to attract a crowd for the music video seemed to work well. We’ll just have to wait and see how the final cut of the video turns out for Lil Wayne.

Here is the official music video for the Lil Wayne hit song “Single” which was a record from the No Ceilings mixtape. The video was directed by DJ Scoob Doo for his Nino Brown Story Part 3 DVD coming next month. It goes behind the scenes inside the studio with Lil Wayne, filming him listening to the track right after it was completed. The music video also shows Tammy Torres, who we haven’t seen with Weezy in a while, showing off her body like always. Drake isn’t on the hook in this version, but it did receive camoes from Mack Maine, Marley G, Nicki Minaj, and Natasha.

It’s finally official. Lil Wayne is now in jail for one year and will be serving his time just like the rest of the Riker’s Island inmates. At first, it was speculated that Weezy would have special treatment with protective guards. That is now untrue, as Lil Wayne will be on a cell block with 17 other men. A near riot broke out when Wayne pulled up to the courthouse. There were so many media people taking pictures, and shouting for a reply from Weezy that he had to be escorted to the front door by two police men. There should be plenty more updates to come to our website however, since Lil Wayne shot nearly 30 music videos and recorded a ton of songs to be released while he is locked up.

In a recent interview Lil Wayne said, “I think it’s amazing what’s been done for Haiti, but I also think its amazing what hasn’t been done for New Orleans.” It’s so sad, but so true. New Orleans didn’t receive half the hype that Haiti has got from the media. Even online we are still constantly seeing banners for Haiti donations or Haiti help. Lil Wayne has a good point and more people need to see this video and pass it on.

In this video above, rappers Lil Wayne and Drake talk backstage at the Grammy Awards about their Super Bowl predictions. It’s pretty obvious who Lil Wayne is picking to win. Drake couldn’t go against what Weezy said either so he talks about how the New Orleans Saints have been playing with a lot of heart. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts are definitely an offensive force that most sports fans hate to see play against their home team. It does seem like the majority of football fans are rooting for the New Orleans Saints to win because of the Katrina disaster. But after its all said and done, who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints? The colts. Now that’s just my super bowl prediction.
