They have been the two biggest names in hip hop the past 2 years, and with Eminem coming back strong, we should continue to hear more collaborations between the two artists. Lil Wayne has just set records with his latest Carter IV album, and Drake is about to do the same when his Take Care album drops soon. That would really help the sales, since many people wouldn’t bootleg the CD and download it. It would be given as gifts by everyone. Last week was the first show of the I Am Music II tour, and MTV covered the show live with a blogger at the scenes. A year ago Lil Wayne was locked up, but now back live on stage, the crowd was going crazy. We’ve all missed Lil Wayne while he was away, but the energy felt from the blogger below shows that we really did miss him. Everyone seems to be making an appearance at the tour, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Birdman, and Travis Barker just to name a few. At the end of the article you will find many pictures from the concert in Baltimore.

10:01 – Wayne is right up there with Em and Jay. He’s one of the only few rap acts with a diverse crowd rockin’ wit him like he’s in the hood.

10:59 – Wayne on stage tearing down “I Am Not A Human Being.” Is it me or did his locks get longer?

11:01 – Wayne just shouted out the late greats Tupac, Michael Jackson and Nate Dogg. Says they taught him how to hustle.

11:12 – the sound is a little funky on “Fire Flame” but the crowd don’t care. I smell a Birdman sighting coming.

11:21 – Lil Twist comes out for a cameo. Where’s Chuckee?

11:26 – Mack Mizzle returns for “Miss Parker” then “Best I Ever Had.”

11:30 – after a brief appearance from Jae Millz YM singer Shanele takes the stage looking like Lala Hathaway performing her new single. Shanele is a beauty!

11:34 – Nicki comes back onstage with Wayne for “Roger That.” They’re rocking!

11:42 – Wayne showing no signs of lettn up. Performing his smash single “Mrs. Officer.”

11:43 – Lollipop!

11:50 – Lil Wayne blacking out on his “Rebirth” set. Word is the show ended at 11:30 so the YMCMB is paying a pretty penny right now. Guess they’re name isn’t Cash Money for nuttin, huh.

11:54 – shirtless, dreads hangin, Wayne gives a high-octane performance for “6 Foot 7 Foot.” Dude is gonna sell a million first week, easy.

All of Lil Waynes concert tours have been multi-million dollar journeys, and he won’t stop anytime soon. The latest issue of the famous Rolling Stone magazine has featured Lil Wayne on the front cover again. This is the third cover he has received from Rolling Stone, and is available on most new stands today. It is also the first interview and cover since being released from Rikers Island jail in November, 2010. Topics mentioned in the new article is Lil Wayne preparing to release Tha Carter IV, vows to never perform on a New York stage again, and plans to record with Bruno Mars, Young Jeezy, and Kelly Rowland. The front cover is too funny though and had me cracking up, because as Lil Wayne said and is pissed about, is that Rolling Stone made him look like a model. The face of new Lil Wayne looks like he’s constipated, or still trying to get over the jail stint, if you know what I mean. Hit the jump to see the full article pictures.

You don’t want to miss this, Mack Maine talks about the Carter IV coming soon from Lil Wayne. He said some of the new Lil Wayne music is from when he was in jail, writing down his thoughts. Usually Wayne doesn’t write his raps, he just freestyles in the studio. However, since there was no studio in prison, he had all the time in the world to perfect his new songs, and put them on paper first. Mack Maine says some of these new songs are amazing, and too stay on the look out for Cory Gunz.

Just a few days after being released from jail, Lil Wayne was seen at the New Orleans Hornets and Miami Heat basketball game along with Birdman, Mack Maine, and Cortez Bryant. Rocking the typical Weezy wardrobe you can see the Cincinnati Reds fitted cap, white tee, and chuck taylors while sitting courtside via seats from allstar Chris Paul. Now we just wait to see how much new music Lil Wayne will put out since he has all the time in the world. No more time behind bars for Wayne and lets keep it that way!

Here is the video where Lil Wayne was given the number 7 spot on MTV’s Hottest MC In The Game 2010 list. This is a pretty bad spot on the list if you ask me, considering Lil Wayne was still dropping music and videos while in jail. Even though he was locked up, we still heard just as much Lil Wayne music as any other rapper. What do you think of this ranking?
