It’s finally official. Lil Wayne is now in jail for one year and will be serving his time just like the rest of the Riker’s Island inmates. At first, it was speculated that Weezy would have special treatment with protective guards. That is now untrue, as Lil Wayne will be on a cell block with 17 other men. A near riot broke out when Wayne pulled up to the courthouse. There were so many media people taking pictures, and shouting for a reply from Weezy that he had to be escorted to the front door by two police men. Check out the video after the jump, and now we just have to wait until the time comes to FREE WEEZY!
There should be plenty more updates to come to our website however, since Lil Wayne shot nearly 30 music videos and recorded a ton of songs to be released while he is locked up.
