As the world was struck with the shocking news of Michael Jackson’s death the other day, Lil Wayne had some kind words to say about the King of Pop. Michael Jackson was known as one of the greatest entertainer’s of all time with too many top hits to name. Many believe Michael Jackson was a phenomenon who broke race, gender, and culture issues for people in the 80’s, for which everyone should respect him. Lil Wayne talked to MTV News shortly after the news of his death and said:
“I personally can’t believe it,” Lil Wayne told MTV News. “But it’s more unfortunate for the world of music. … My love goes out to his family. … A sad day in history, not just music.”
