Lil Wayne appeared at an Arizona court today for his drug possession and weapon charges. His attorney stated that the U.S. Border Patrol had not turned in the records of the arrest, so the Yuma County Superior Court judge decided to set another court date for August 11th.
Weezy was arrested back in January 2008, I’m sure you all heard of it, and it seems like it was so long ago. It said that Lil Wayne was carrying cocaine, ecstasy, and a handgun on his tour bus when trying to pass through the checkpoint on Interstate 8, just east of Yuma.
Since the arrest, Lil Wayne hasn’t got in much legal trouble, but he still faces a count for each of his charges, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs, and weapons misconduct. Weezy had previously pleaded not guilty to all of those charges, but who knows what will go down on August 11th. Check out the pictures of him arriving at the Arizona court:
